Edinson Cavani’s agent and brother Walter Fernando Guglielmone has revealed that the striker could have joined Manchester United or Chelsea if he wanted to transfer for money, hitting back at stories that claimed that player didn’t join the Rojiblancos because of problems with commission.
The former Palermo striker was touted to tranfer to the Wanda Metropolitano within the winter transfer window but a deal did not materialize. As a result, there have been reports of a deal breaking down because of problems due to the commissions surrounding the deal.
However, Cavani’s agent has hit back at those claims, stating that they wouldn’t have broken off the deal for commission-related issues after not playing for a month and making a multitude with Paris Saint-Germain within the process.
